First, RE/MAX Prime belongs to two multiple listing services – the local National Association of Realtor (NAR) affiliated Olympic Listing Service (OLS) and the non-National Association of Realtor affiliated Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS). It is now a requirement to have a listing agreement for each MLS as the rules are different for each.

We may only publish buyer broker compensation offers on the NWMLS and on social media, our website, advertising, and flyers, but not on the local Olympic Listing Service (OLS buyer agents will need to look at our website or simply call us to find out the buyer agent commission that is being offered.)

The new changes that went into effect over the weekend will allow for more transparency in the transaction process.
